Kansas has a wide variety of utility partners, and Efficiency Kansas offers two options for participation in the program.

Option 1
Utilities receive funds only after providing a Certificate of Project Completion. Utilities forward monthly payments received from customers.
Option 1 Jurisdictional Utility Agreement
Option 1 Non-jurisdictional Utility Agreement

Option 2
Utilities receive funds immediately upon approval of the Energy Conservation Plan. Utilities forward monthly payments regardless of customer default.

6/11/10 Kansas City Power & Light (KCPL) filed its application with the Kansas Corporation Commission, to be a partner utility in the Efficiency Kansas loan program.

6/4/10 Westar Energy, Inc., filed its application with the Kansas Corporation Commission, to be a partner utility in the Efficiency Kansas loan program.
